Baby D's Nursery
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 1:17PM Nursery is complete and our bags are packed, but if at all possible, can you wait Baby D until your Nona arrives on April 6th?
Most everything in this nursery besides the rug was second hand or from my own bedroom growing up. Big thanks to Heidi for the changing table and Tiff and JJ for the crib. I had the curtains from our Ferndale house and I made the duvet covers and pillows. This nursery was all about a budget, so I hope you can't tell too much!

My grandma embroidered these animals for the nursery. I've shown them on here before. Aren't they sweet?

Cub and William Wallace are ready too! I painted the ram and moose. The Baby's sign is Aries which is a Ram so I thought it was fitting!

I highly recommend rugsusa.com for the best deals for rugs out there. I purchased this cream 8' round flokati rug on cyber Monday for 70% off original price + free shipping. They always have deals.

The wood from the book shelves came from Casey's childhood bedroom shelves. The bird drawing above the book shelves was drawn by my Nona. And the pickle you see dangling is "super pickle" that Nono had hanging in their house while we were growing up. He loved pickle ball:)

Can't let the baby forget crazy uncles Jack and Dylan.

Hope you like the eclectic woodland nursery! It was fun to create and I know will be a great place to snuggle and play with our little one.
