I'm the modern day house wife. I have no children and no husband, but I do have a really fat cat (not her fault or mine) a wonderful, supportive PNC (partner n crime), lots of fabric, a sewing machine, paints and a computer to keep me really busy. I love to create, garden, lay in the sun (for hours), and I make lattes every morning. In the future, I'd love to have some kiddos to play with my fat cat, I'd love to live in the sunshine and I'd love to make a great living off of being creative. Not too much to ask right?! A Fishy Afternoon.

It was a sticky, fishy day. Casey and I decided after a morning of house work on Friday and being really hot after working in the yard, we'd treat ourselves to some fishing on the nicest day of the year. We traveled just a few miles up the road to the Barci farm. Tucked away on 80 acres is a beautiful pond supporting the habitat of many healthy bass fish and a beautiful view of Mt. Baker. This is my favorite spot in the county. Here are some photos of the catch of the day and some of the scenery.bass%20fishing.jpg
