Build -a- library baby shower.
Monday, March 12, 2012 at 6:39PM I have to say it is so unreal sometimes to think that we are all grown up. It seems like yesterday Biff and I were shot gunning beers, frequenting Wing Dome at the U district and pioneer square incidents (where Biff got her name.) I look at my friends today and I'm so happy that after years of having theme parties like "Bring your own decorated Franzia box" or my old favorite, "byob 40," we are planning parties like "build -a- library" baby showers. I'm so happy that we had those crazy times in our 20's together and now we have met our loves and having families.
Lindsay Daly aka Biff, Biffy, or Biffnasty as we call her is about to bring into the world a baby boy. Biff had one amazing shower to celebrate Lil Daly coming into the world. Tarah and Tamara did an incredible job putting this shower together. It was creative and fun and yummy. They came up with a book theme to build Lil Daly a library. Included in the invitation was a sticker to place in the book to write a personal message to Lil Daly.

This little guy, Kellan (Lil Daly's cousin) was in charge of putting the books in this basket. I love the drool drip!

Tarah and Tamara created the menu around the book theme. Clever and yummy all at once. Notice the adorable mini chalkboard menus.

I had three bagels with "Lorax." So good.

I kind of hung out by the party favors a little too long, especially the Swedish fish and sour patch kids. A candy bar. If that wasn't enough, a bookmark to take home.

And then to the woman of the hour...

A shout out to our hometown.

Lil Daly's nursery theme is "vintage baseball" This was my gift to Lil Daly.

There's Tamara holding up the huggies for a game. You had to guess how much these baby items costs when they are not on sale. I did not participate as I don't have a clue what baby things cost. My cousin Linds who has three children won the prize. Surprise, surprise. If Lindsay isn't at home, you can usually find her at Target. I spy Linds's little one in this photo, hint, looking unamused, wearing pink. Notice the book page garlands. And notice the beautiful curtains Tarah MADE.

There's Tarah with Biffy. Tarah's newly remodeled kitchen looks like its out of a magazine.

If lip fillers could make my lips look like Biff's and not like Lisa Rena's or Taylor Armstrong's I'd get that done. She looks beautiful and she is glowing.

Linds, Court and our newest family member, Cionna. It looks like I'm not supporting her head, but I can assure you I was! Cionna is our Italian Jersey girl. Dark hair, dark skin and soon to be decked out in lots of leopard and zebra.
