I'm the modern day house wife. I have no children and no husband, but I do have a really fat cat (not her fault or mine) a wonderful, supportive PNC (partner n crime), lots of fabric, a sewing machine, paints and a computer to keep me really busy. I love to create, garden, lay in the sun (for hours), and I make lattes every morning. In the future, I'd love to have some kiddos to play with my fat cat, I'd love to live in the sunshine and I'd love to make a great living off of being creative. Not too much to ask right?! Blossoms.

There is beauty around every corner in the Columbia Valley this week. Fruit trees are in bloom and really sprucing up the joint. This is a great time of year to visit this side of Washington. The Apple Blossom Parade is this weekend in Wenatchee. Wish we could go but we have a milestone to attend instead. My Dad's retirement party. He's retiring as an air traffic controller for Sea Tac air port. Couldn't be happier for him. The big "DondO," retiring, about to kick back and enjoy the finer things in life.

These photos were taken in the same orchard that we took our wedding photos in. These blossoms will turn into scrumptious, delish, pears.

Much love from the orchard land.

Yay for your Dad, does this mean you'll have a full time family member near by?
