I'm the modern day house wife. I have no children and no husband, but I do have a really fat cat (not her fault or mine) a wonderful, supportive PNC (partner n crime), lots of fabric, a sewing machine, paints and a computer to keep me really busy. I love to create, garden, lay in the sun (for hours), and I make lattes every morning. In the future, I'd love to have some kiddos to play with my fat cat, I'd love to live in the sunshine and I'd love to make a great living off of being creative. Not too much to ask right?! Desert Rat

For the last three weeks I've been hinding out here...tucked away between palms and the most fragrant orange trees. I spent most of my time in this yard, basting my skin in the Arizona heat, drying out and reading Twilight. Anyone else obsessed like I am. I started the Vampire love story down there and now I am home and on the third book. Yes, I might be in line at blockbuster with all the other teenagers on Saturday night waiting for my own copy if the DVD.

So are you wondering why I was so spoiled by 3 weeks off in the sun? Its because Washington weather is drowning me in mucus. Yes, gross but reality. This was an experiement to dry up every sticky crevas in my body so I wouldn't have to have a 3rd sinus surgery. It worked!

Baseball pants. Need I say more. I have the best baseball pants at home. But I couldn't help thinking that ladies should be stoping by Spring Training just for the pants alone. I attending the M's Spring Training game with my Uncle Ron. I learned through 9 innings about his love of music, his old Chicago days and his fetish for hair cuts.

This was my first brewski in a year and a half. Thanks to meds I am not supposed to have a sip, but this bar, Greesewood Flats, weekend my will power. Greesewood Flats is located near Pinnacle Peak and its all outdoors, live band, fire pits around the dance floor and lots of creased Wranglers.

The Cowboys like to park their ponies out in front of the bar. Pinnacle Peak in in the background.

Two Steppin.

My pardners and caretakers, Uncle Ron and Aunt Jo.

My roommates, Benny and Lucy.

Last night with Aunt Jo, Benny and Lucy.

Now that I am home and had lots of rest you can look forward to new products coming shortly. I will be updating my ETSY shop with the new spring line very soon! Look forward to hearing from you.
